CACIE 2026: A Global Platform for International Education

Recognised as one of the leading international education events in the Asia-Pacific region, CACIE has brought together thousands of decision-makers, higher education professionals, institutional representatives, and education stakeholders from around the world annually since 2000.

Over more than two decades, the event has established itself as an important international platform for exploring emerging trends in education, addressing global challenges, developing institutional partnerships, and promoting innovative approaches to international cooperation. CACIE 2026 brought together representatives from more than 70 countries and regions, featuring over 350 exhibitors, 450 speakers, 100 educational events, and more than 1,900 educational institutions, with total expo participation exceeding 35,000.

The programme featured a diverse range of activities, including plenary sessions, parallel forums, cooperation and negotiation meetings, exchange activities, institutional presentations, and the China International Education Exhibition. Its thematic forums covered higher education, vocational education, basic education, and specialised education, providing opportunities for institutions to exchange knowledge and explore potential areas of cooperation. During the event, FSMVU representatives attended conference sessions and engaged with international universities and institutions to explore opportunities for academic partnerships, student and staff mobility, joint research, and broader institutional cooperation.

Promoting Türkiye's Higher Education Opportunities

Held on 30-31 October 2026 alongside the conference, the China Education Expo (CEE 2026) provided an additional platform for international higher education institutions to present their academic programmes, student exchange opportunities, and potential areas of academic cooperation. Within the Study in Türkiye Pavilion, organised by the Turkish National Agency, a total of 54 institutions from Türkiye participated, including 52 universities and two public institutions. This extensive national representation contributed to strengthening the international visibility of Türkiye's higher education sector and showcasing the educational and research opportunities offered by Turkish universities to an international audience. Throughout the exhibition, FSMVU introduced its academic programmes, educational opportunities, and international mobility activities to prospective international students and representatives of higher education institutions. Meetings with universities from China and other countries also provided opportunities to establish new contacts and explore potential institutional partnerships.

As part of the CEE programme, FSMVU also delivered an institutional presentation at the Learning Stage Pavilion. The presentation introduced the University's academic profile, educational approach, institutional achievements, and international cooperation opportunities to the event's participants. The session provided an opportunity to present FSMVU's academic strengths and international engagement, while highlighting the University's commitment to expanding its global academic network and developing sustainable partnerships.Through its participation in CACIE 2026 and CEE 2026, Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University continues to strengthen its international presence, establish new institutional connections, and explore opportunities for meaningful cooperation with higher education institutions around the world.
